Hey everyone, how are you doing? I am doing well. I got to go home again Sunday. It was great for a change of pace. Everyone is doing excellent. I am feeling great and getting stronger by the day . I am hoping to be home in 2-3 weeks. I have a few more obstacles that I have to overcome before Amy will let me come back to "her house". So for now I will stay in my wonderful room at the "old folks home"
Thanks again for all your continued support. Love, Joe
Love your sense of humor! So happy for you and your family that your recovery is going so well! Chad and I were talking about your journey the other day and Cade chimed in "I would like to see Jake's daddy, he's a really, really nice guy!" That said, just proves how many lives you have been a positive influence on, young and old (including those you beat at your various "games" at the old folks home) Please keep posting your updates and we look forward to seeing you back in the neighborhood. Let us know how we can help :)

Joey; You probabl don't remember me, Wendy's Aunt Cathy. You are truly the strongest guy I know. I have been following your progress and am brought to tears so often. What you have been through, most people would have given up. You are one of the nicest guys I've ever met. I wish you nothing but the best, you deserve it. As far as "the old folks home" Hang in there, I can just imagine how your brighten the days of those around you. Best to you and your family. Cathy Frantz

Joe, Loved the custom wheelchair! I really liked the rifle on the side. I think that Faison liked it too. You are now an honorary rifleman! When you feel better, we can go bust off some rounds. I hope your excellent progress continues.

Hey Joe!!! You had me laughing out loud with the red wheel chair and the jail cell picture!! It is so unbelievable how far you have come from the early days of Lutheran SICU. Obviously, you are meant to be here and we are all thankful that you are! Hang in there at the rehab center and try not to hit on too many old ladies :) It is great to hear you have been able to have some mini escapes to your house and before ya know it the nursing home will be a distant past...
Keep getting stronger Joe and keep up the humor! :)
